I am learning about vintage jewelry. I am just a beginner, so I need all of the tips I can get! Weiss jewelry caught my eye on eBay, but I was shocked to see so much of it! I was curious also because a lot of the jewelry listed as Weiss looked cheap… I wondered, Why would anyone want to collect that?

After researching Weiss jewelry I learned that most of that listed on eBay are fakes. A great website even explains how to spot a fake. I learned so much from this site!
Some examples of real Weiss Jewelry (I found so many beautiful options I had a difficult time limiting the pictures)
Tip #1 for the rookie vintage collector (like myself): Look at the back of the jewelry! If the workmanship is less than satisfactory it is a fake.
