Softbox Eye Palette New!

May 25th, 2011 · No Comments

Smashbox’s new smashing Limited Edition eye collection comes in natural shades that promise to make your eyes look “wow.” The set is better than an artist’s palette with nine delicious confections, eye shadows that will enhance but not overpower, two creamy eyeliners (my newest fave in eyeliners, the cream). An eyelid primer is included to ensure staying power, a guarantee that this Softbox works, and also included is a two sided brush. Everything you need to make up your eyes better than nature made them while -ssshhh!- still keeping it a secret is contained in a fabulous box, stylish and compact.

Sweet Summer Shoes to Put a Spring In Your Step

May 3rd, 2011 · No Comments

Wedge Sandals can be seen everywhere from here to high heaven, and I’m in hog heaven wearin’ these delectably simmering sweeties. Found mine at Famous Footwear: Natural Soul by Naturalizer “Brigette” in Pink Floral. The shoe is comfortable enough for a wedge, but be careful pairing in super sweet duos or trios- actually, its probably a good idea to avoid it altogether. The bow on the toe of these puppies is cute but the light canvas colored background of the fabric along with the pink florals is **almost** too much. Luckily the height of the wedge adds a kind of much needed sassiness. Cool & casual, these chicas will become your best girlfriend for the next couple weeks.

Two Faced Eye Shadow Palette

April 24th, 2011 · 1 Comment

Ooh la la!  This is one of my new favorite things.

By Two Faced, Eye Shadows in colors that are meant to make the eye look “naked” as though you just rolled out of bed.

Meaning, Natural Beauty at its best. Their first palette like unto was “Natural” although Buyer Beware, these shades look much more natural (ie barely there) than the actual “Natural”. Although Naked is true to form- the form that your eyes will be in after applying these fabulous shades. I don’t really like this one nearly as much as the first, but hey ya gotta hand it to ‘em for trying.

Buxom Mascara Blue Noir- Brings out your Peepers’ Color

April 24th, 2011 · No Comments

Bare Escentuals has done it again with their Buxom Mascara- its been a known winner for over a year now and will enhance any set of eyes. This mascara creates a dramatique look, but isn’t really “too much” nor the most intense mascara effect out there. My fave though is the new color, “Blue Noir”. This super pigmented beauty is all a girl could ask for- I have green eyes, and while blue is not typically recommended to bring out the “greens” so to speak, I noticed a huge difference in comparison to my black beauty mascara. My eyes are just a tad bit too light for black mascara to really do the trick, but I highly recommend this color to all those who have light eyes like me. The color enhanced rather than overpowered for an uber-pretty-peepers look.

Oh my Darling, Klementine! Cutest Versatile shoe Ever!

April 23rd, 2011 · No Comments

I love love LOVE these skecher babies. Skecher designers are geniuses, I swear they are, developing so many styles like unto the ballet flat- even for the sportier pairs that offer plenty of support. These shoes have sweet ventilation holes and plenty of cushion for the pushin’ your feet are gonna do to them all day long. They are truly a comfy shoe, when compared to the average ballet flat but mine kinda pull and tug at certain parts of my foot, like my heel and my pinky toe. Its just slight, but brought about the usually common soft blister on my heel- although Ive seen worse. All I’m sayin’ is this shoe isn’t THE MOST comfy out there, so don’t expect a shoe designed for that sort of thing. They are Gorgeous, aren’t they? :) :) :)
