ELF cosmetics (Eyes Lips Face) is my new favorite makeup line. Who would of thought, with products at only one dollar each. If I saw these products randomly in the store I would never give them a second thought- mainly because they are so inexpensive. If they only cost $1, they’ve got to be crappy, right?

Actually ELF cosmetics are high quality. Elf has featured their cosmetic line in many magazines. I came across the brand while reading Allure. I was curious, but not psyched…

My husband has been getting on me about all of the stuff I lug to work everyday. He’s right- I carry way too much. I have my purse, my business case/tote, and my makeup bag for touch-ups. I carry my makeup bag with me everyday and bring it home at night so I can apply makeup on the commute to work (my husband drives). Then I saw a makeup ad for Elf that said something like, “throw away your purse. Now you can have a makeup bag at the office, your home, and wherever else you would like!” I decided to give it a try at this point.

I researched the makeup online, then found that the makeup is also available in many storefronts. In my area ELF cosmetics are on the shelves at K-mart and Big Lots. Go figure! I bought a couple of items at K-mart and tried them… and Wow! Their products are good quality. My skin is sensitive and the makeup didn’t make my face burn- like any other inexpensive brand. I really liked the way I looked wearing the makeup too- I wasn’t the only one who noticed I looked great. I got lots of compliments.

Another thing I like about this brand of makeup is that most of the products have a yummy fruit/desert smell. The cream blush “pink lemonade” really smells like a sweet, mild, fresh lemonade. The sweet smell of the makeup is such a plus… any cosmetic or cream that smells like food will draw men like bees!
