Spring fashion is always tres chic…feminine, flirty and fun. Although I did not go to any runway shows :( I have taken a look at a few resources of my own.
Colors
Spring colors are traditionally pastels… uplifting colors simulated from the petals of spring flowers. Fittingly uplifting, as bright shiny spring follows harsh deadly winter. Everyone is ready by spring to shed the sweaters, leggings, and wool coats to don lighter fare. The colors I saw on the runway were pink, plenty of white, black, and gray; and light blue to name a few.

I am not proud to admit that I paid $60 for this necklace in a jewelry store that has a reputation for amazing deals. I did not know the value of jade- although I still feel confused on this issue- but I thought I was getting a great deal. I just happened to stumble upon the same necklace, almost identical, on ebay. The necklace was priced at $9.99, and shipping was set at $8.99. The wind was knocked out of me.

Fashion craze, like any good game, begins with a storyline. Maria, a writer for a fashion magazine, gets a call from her Aunt Lynne who is going on a trip. Maria’s aunt asks Maria to run the fashion shop while the aunt is on vacation.

The game encourages you to place model customers by male customers to increase both characters’ happiness. When a model is placed next to another female customer both parties’ satisfaction quickly decreases. The game prompts that the women should not be placed next to the models. I laughed- so true to life! The best part is that as you drag a customer closer to another you see how they will interact- with captioned smiley faces or frowns.

I found this necklace on, of all places, amazon.com. I’ve blogged about their jewelry before. This necklace is definitely not my style, but I loved the details. I’m amazed at the facets of the citrine (the yellow/gold large spherical beads) and the smoky quartz (oval shaped, translucent smoke colored) and the flowers are amazing. I think they are tigerseye. Overall the necklace is not for me. Its too busy and I think its difficult to focus on the most beautiful parts of the necklace. Instead I found my eyes darting everywhere. I’m not crazy about the double strand for this necklace design either.

Okay, I admit it: I have tanned, in a tanning bed, for almost a decade. That’s a little less than half my life. Whoa… that’s hard to admit. I thought tanning wouldn’t affect my skin or my health. I thought I was invincible. Now it’s catching up to me… or is it?

Do I cut back tanning in a bed, or stop altogether? Do I limit sun exposure, wear sunscreen, and a hat? I know many would say I am stupid for opting for a tan, and I am beginning to wonder if they’re right.
